Our new group of Saudi students are making themselves very popular around school with their generosity and their desire to get to know their classmates.
Last week GV Brisbane said Salaam (Hello in Arabic) to a new group of Saudi students. These lucky students will be spending up to a year at GV before they go on to learn Helicopter Maintenance at Aviation Australia. The students made themselves very welcome on their first day by going around to each classroom delivering chocolate gifts for everyone. They are very excited to be in Australia and to start making friends from all around the world. For many of them this is their first time abroad. All of the students are very keen football fans — we can see a Saudi vs Brazil football challenge in the near future.
