Friday night starts off with a big brass band (trumpets, trombones, the lot!) playing traditional Christmas carols. Starting at 7:30pm, this sounds like a fantastic way to feel like it’s Christmas! Details here.

Friday night will have another fiery event for those who like something a little bit more dangerous- the fire twirling festival in West End! Held Every full moon in Orleigh Park, this event promises to show you some amazingly skilled fire-twirlers showing you some amazing tricks with fire! More information here.
If you’re looking for something interesting to do do during the day, the Museum of Brisbane is also showing an exhibit called “Costumes from the Golden Age of Hollywood”. This exhibit will show all kinds of beautiful clothes worn during the 1920-1950s. More information here.
