After many of you went away for the Easter weekend- Melbourne, Fraser Island, the Sunshine Coast- you might be looking for something to do in our lovely Brisbane this weekend! Look no further- check out these suggestions of things to do!

Have you been to Fortitude Valley? It’s a hub of nightclubs and bars next to the city, and has amazing nightlife. You may not know that “the valley” has a lot happening in the day as well. Cirque de Soleil is a world-famous show with truly breathtaking performances by a whole range of acrobats, dancers and trapeze artists, with beautiful costumes and sets to complete the dazzling display. It’s a little expensive, but a once in a lifetime experience. Check out tickets here.
Finish up your weekend with a Mexican Fiesta! The Chalk Hotel in Woolloongabba ( very close to Kangaroo Point for those of you who live there) has a Mexican theme every Sunday, complete with margaritas, enchiladas and buckets of Corona beer. Check out more info here.
