This weekend, various locations around Brisbane will be setting up their stalls ready to sell all their wonderful gifts, trinkets and keepsakes! I’ve rounded up a few of the more popular markets popping up this weekend, so if you’re interested, keep on reading! 😀
The Brisbane Twilight Market is making its return this Friday night over in King George Square. The Winter Festival is still running as well, so why not grab yourself a bargain, then celebrate by going ice-skating on the man-made ice rink. The best thing about it? It’s right across the road from Lexis! 🙂

Head on over to enjoy hours of endless entertainment, food and embrace the local culture of West End.

If you haven’t been or even heard of Eat Street Markets, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Don’t make any plans this weekend – instead go here! Down by the old Portside docks on the Brisbane River, large shipping containers have been transformed into an Asian inspired marketplace, offering everything from fresh food, live entertainment and even a drive-in cinema! They’re still a relatively “new” marketplace, but every weekend, the streets are guaranteed to be lined with hundreds of cars and people making their way in. So, what’re you waiting for? Check it out!
– Fridays: 4pm to 10pm
– Saturdays: 4pm to 10pm
* Markets will also be running on Sundays during the Winter months. Keep up-to-date via their Facebook page.

Go along and support our local farmers who work very hard to bring us yummy produce every day.

This weekend should be a little dryer than the last, so make the most of the outdoors and our beautiful Brisbane Winter days! But make sure to wear nice warm clothing, because we’re expecting a cold front over the next few days. Saturday, we’re expecting temperatures of around 6 degrees in the morning, which is like the second coming of the ice age, (according to Brisbane-ites)!! 😛 What ever it is you choose to do, have fun and plan ahead! See you all next week!! 😀
