What’s on in Brisbane this weekend

Hello, Friday!

Here are some ideas for the winter’s last weekend:

Starts on Friday, 24th August till Sunday, 26th August:  Brisbane Boats Show.  If you are into  fishing or boats don’t miss the opportunity to visit this year Brisbane Boats Show.Head to South Bank this weekend and enjoy a day or two full of water, fun, technology and vessels.

Saturday, 25th August: Technicolour Multicultural Festival is back! Each year, the Multicultural Community Centre (MCC) hosts the Technicolour Multicultural Festival, with the support from the Queensland Government – a free event showcasing various foods and cultural performances.

Saturday, 25th August: Gigs and Picnics in the City. Bring your friends, blankets, food baskets to City Botanic Gardens and enjoy jazz, gypsy music or reggae from 12 pm every Saturday.

Sunday, 26th August: Bridge to Brisbane is one of the biggest fitness events in Brisbane. Unfortunately, the registration is closed now but we want to remind you that there are going to be some road closures. So, if you are planning to visit the city on Sunday check here for information.
