Australia Day Celebration in Brisbane 🎆🎆🎆

As many of you (hopefully) know that this Saturday, 26th of January, we all celebrate Australia Day 🇦🇺. If you are interested in Australian history click here to check what is Australia Day about.

Of course there are going to be many events in our wonderful city this weekend to celebrate Australia Day 2019. Most of them are free.

Australia Day on the Green, Saturday 26 January, starts 1 pm

Head to South Bank and enjoy free live music in the spectacular setting of River Quay at Australia Day on the Green. Don’t forget to bring your picnic baskets and best friends. More information  here.

Music on the Mountain Top – Australia Day Special, Saturday 26 January, starts 1.30 pm

If you live near Mt Gravatt  don’t miss a chance to visit beautiful Mt Gravatt lookout and spend a lovely afternoon with a great company and beautiful free music. More information here.

Australia Day Fireworks, Saturday 26 January, starts 7.30 pm

Watch a free and colorful Australia Day Fireworks display at 7.30 pm.  Bring your best mates and celebrate Australia Day 2019. More information here.
