It’s Friday again and we need to say Goodbye to our amazing students. You’ve became a big part of our #LexisFamily!
All the best in your wonderful journeys ❤
Every day we do some fun great useful activities. For example today, we decorated cups using nail polish and water. Here are the instructions if you are planning to do it yourself:
(Note: Handwash only. The polish is likely to chip in the dishwasher.) Source

One of the perks of living in Queensland (apart from the fantastic beaches, the great weather and everything else) is the quality of the fruit, especially the strawberries.
If you haven’t heard about it, strawberry farmers are having a very difficult time at the moment 😦 People no longer think that strawberries are safe and they are being forced to get rid of all of them!
However, The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation came up with a “berry” good idea. On Wednesday 26th September, there will be lots of EKKA Strawberry Sundaes for people to buy at King George Square and all the profits will go to strawberry farmers.
So make sure you stop by King George Square on Wednesday 26th September and get your strawberry sundae.
Friday is here and we found some great ideas how to spend this weekend.
Check out Brisbane Festival website here for the information about great events happening right now! Brisbane Festival 2018 features an amazing program of theatre, music, dance, circus, opera and more. It’s one of the biggest events in Brisbane and absolutely MUST SEE.
I am personally a huge fan of J. R. R. Tolkien, so next activity is very close to my heart. The one of a kind movie “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” is going to be shown on a big screen (open air) today at 6.30 pm. Take you best friends and enjoy this great movie and beautiful Australian spring. More information here.
This Saturday we would recommend to head to Brisbane City Botanic Gardens for Gigs and Picnics. Fresh air, free cool music, great company – what else do you need for a prefect Saturday day?!
If you are a fan of comic books, cool fantasy movies about super heroes and computer games? Then Oz Comic Con is place to visit for you this Saturday and Sunday. The program includes film and television stars, comic book artists and voice actors, gaming demonstrations and cosplay competitions, creative workshops and master classes, and much more.
A great afternoon filled with fooooooood- who needs more in life!
Students had so much fun and full, happy bellies. Teachers were great helpers and the party was an absolute blast.
The Head Chef also did a great job- nobody got food poisoning lol WIN WIN 😉
That’s how we roll 🙂

Watch children’s TV programmes in English where they talk slowly and use easy vocabulary. This is good to do when you start learning English.
