Oktoberfest Brisbane sees part of the Brisbane Showgrounds transformed into a Bavarian village for a celebration that has been voted as one of the world’s top ten Oktoberfests outside of Germany – and it’s the next best thing to taking a flight to Germany.

For two whole weekends in October (Oct 11-13, 18-20) , happy crowds of all ages, many of them in Tyrolean hats, Lederhosen and Dirndl, descend on the gates at opening time, only to leave twelve hours later after an unforgettable day of chicken dances, leg slapping, Bratwurst and pork knuckle gnawing, yodeling and cow bell ringing. Eagle Street Pier Spring Colour Party | 14 September – 13 October

Brisbane’s premier Riverside dining, Eagle Street Pier, will come alive with colour this Spring with a Colour Party from 12 September to 13 October with free live entertainment, giveaways and more every Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Be sure to visit the Pier this Spring as the precinct is transformed with visual and interactive elements, engaging themes, automated games as well as Instagram Moment pop-ups.

Medibank Feel Good Program – Yoga / Saturday, 5 October

The Medibank Feel Good Program is a series of free fitness classes held at South Bank Parklands and Brisbane City.
